BE THEATRE SPRING WORKSHOPS
Located in our new space at the San Angelo Performing Arts Center, our goal for spring classes is to have a lot of fun while we settle into the new building.  Our students will now have their very own classroom upstairs!

YOUNG PERFORMERS WORKSHOP- FUN AND GAMES
AGES 3rd-8th grade
SESSION A: MONDAY 4:30-6pm
SESSION B: THURSDAY 4:30-6pm
March 19-May 10
*We will take the week of April 16 off, and no class on May 3
Instructor: Suzy Roberts
Tuition: $90

CLASS DESCRIPTION
This spring, our classes will focus on game play, creativity and imagination.  Our mission in education is based in the process of theatre arts, so our spring Youth Performer Workshops will focus on some of the things actors do to build confidence, create bold characters and inspire creative thinking. Chooose session A or B for a once a week class.  Or, you can take both if you have a really adventurous thespian!    Storytelling, character games, improvisation and movement will be just part of the activities planned for the 7 week session.  Best of all, our students will have fun with us while we start making our new location a home! 

 *Please note some weeks certain classes will not be meeting due to performances with Literature Alive, and our need to have staff helping with our tech week.  


 BE BEGINNERS classes are full.  To be placed on a waiting list, please email Suzy Roberts at suzy@betheatre.com with your name, child's name and class preference. We often have shifting in classes.

BE BEGINNERS- STORYTELLING EXPERIENCE
AGES K-2nd grade
SESSION A: TUESDAYS 4-5pm Full
SESSION B: WEDNESDAYS 4-5pm Full!

Tuition: $ 70 

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Much like this year’s upcoming Literature Alive Project, Mr. Buddy takes the kids on a fun journey through familiar stories.  Children will learn listening skills, cooperation in groups and most of all, how to inhabit the characters from the stories they are reading and hearing.   A small showcase for friends and family will follow after the 7 week course on May 8 or 9 in the Be Theatre Black Box Theatre.
