Congratulations to Stryder Hicks and Devon May for receving a full scholarship based on their audition and scholarship application. Students interested in a scholarship filled out an application with a question about why they do theatre. Also, all auditioners were given scores in a rubric we used during auditions. We watched for a students preparedness, behavior at auditions, song choice, projection/diction, bold character choices and kindness to others during their time at auditions.
"I like to participate in theatre because I like to challenge myself to be better and to create something wonderful." - Devon
".... theatre gives me a place to go where I don't have to worry about being judged or mocked for being myself." - Stryder
