Mindy Matlock
Youth Instructor
Mindy Matlock is excited to join the Be Theatre family as a youth instructor!
Despite being a Big Spring native, Mindy adores San Angelo’s huge art and theatre community and is proud to call it home. Mindy obtained her associate’s degree in theatre at Howard College in her hometown of Big Spring, TX. There, she worked on projects such as student directing a production of Sylvia, starring in Nunsense, and leading her college’s improv troupe!
Mindy graduated from Angelo State University in 2016 with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in English, theatre, and communication. After graduating, Mindy began working toward her master’s degree while pursuing various writing projects.
Nowadays, when Mindy isn’t teaching sock puppet techniques to children, she is managing the box office and doing graphic design for Angelo Civic Theatre. She spends her time reading, drawing, playing video games, cooing at her many cats, and, of course, doing theatre with her wonderfully weird husband, Ty.
