Nick Ellis / Nyx @ Nite

Nick has been part of the Be Theatre framily since 2016 when he costumed his first show, “Taming of the Shrew.” Since then, Nick’s involvement with Be Theatre has grown as he has costumed numerous shows and has even acted in the Christmas edition of Junie B. Jones. Nick moved to San Angelo in 2015 to complete his theatre degree at Angelo State University. After graduating with his Bachelors, he began working on his master’s degree in Higher Education at ASU. When Nick is not volunteering with the theatre, he is working full-time as a leasing agent, serving as an advisor for his fraternity Kappa Delta Rho at Angelo State, and serving as a board member for Ballet San Angelo.

Of all those things, Nick’s favorite thing to do in his free time is perform as a drag entertainer by the name of Nyx @ Nite. Nyx has been performing in shows in San Angelo since 2019 and is now part of the Koronazz Showcast. Nyx loves to share the art of drag and enjoys getting to meet new people from all over that love and support this artform as well. Nick is very excited to now serve Be Theatre as board member. He can’t wait to see how the theatre grows and impacts the lives of the San Angelo community, the same way that it has impacted him!
